My dad's work place was ambushed by half a dozen parang wielding robbers today. There were about 9 people working with him at that time. It was 1pm, and something was up when the 4WD drove into the compound and braked like a drifter (you know, driving too fast and braking too fast).
Laptops, handphones, necklaces were taken. Praise be to God for His protection over my dad, because he managed to escape before the robbers set foot to the place and call the police.
I've been praying a lot for my parents this week, and now i know why.
Truly, there is power in the blood of Jesus.
The robbers escaped, but no one was kidnapped or seriously injured.
"The Lord is faithful,
and he will strengthen and protect you from the evil one."
2 Thesselonians 3:3
