this is Saturday Fluff!

There are times when I feel like we all talk too much and do too little. Not in big actions like "bringing change" and all that, I mean by just the normal day-to-day conversation.

Sometimes there is no need at all to speak because what you seek cannot be found by words.

Other times we feel there is a tendency to speak just because we need to let the people around us know that we are there, that we have something to say just for the sake of it.

Jolene and Aimee blogged about being beautiful.

This topic has been bashed over and over again by different parties: beauty is inside, blah blah blah, pretty people are vain, blah blah blah, there's no ugly girls only lazy girls, blah blah BLAH.

I believe that ugly girls have at least one advantage over the pretty ones: guys who approach them do not do so solely because of the girls' looks, but finds that her personality shines forth brighter than her looks.

FINE so I'm comforting myself. Sheesh, give the uglies an opportunity to comfort themselves laa. See, pretty people are so mean :( and i'm too paranoid for my own good? PAH!

*

IMHO though, puberty is an awful stage. I was the ugliest at my puberty. Don't believe me? Go FB and look at the AWEful pics. (Whoever put those online deserves to...not eat ice cream for a year!)

After puberty, everything seems fine. Even more so when we crawl out of the MALU-fying school uniforms. Seriously, I believe that school uniforms were created to make teens think that they have no self esteem. Or to discourage teenage dating. Whichever sounds worse.

Boys, oh boys have it easy. They play sports all day. No need to jaga appearance.

Terrorists are people on the road with rage.

They instill terror into others.
The only agenda they want to propagate is one of authority on the road.
They do so because they believe the highways belong to their grandfathers.
They need an audience to fulfill their rage and anger fuelled purposes.

Most of these road rage people drive in Toyota Hilux and Myvis.
*kicks the said car models*

Eh, but sometimes motorcyclists also do that. Most dangerous motorcyclists look like gangsters and work as debt collectors/poster stickers for loan sharks.

freestyle fridays

Item 1
Stuff that make me cringe when I read/hear of it:
Taylor Swift
Twilight
Lenka (eeeee)
Right Round
Secondhand Serenade

And, the Indie scene. You know, the home made buttons, worn out canvas shoes, living-life-like-a-painter thing. It's supposed to be INDIE right? As in INDEPENDENT? So why does it sound MAINSTREAM now?

Item 2
Blogger shall be busy in real life for the next two weeks or till 20th June, whichever ends first.

Item 3
Blogger is broke. LOL

Item 4
Movies to watch:

glass of water

I is currently reading

Heh heh make me look smart leh?

I thought I was going to have a bad day today :(

the universe is conspiring against me! Oh noes D: *throws drama queen fit*
But only we ourselves have the power to make a day happy/bad. :DD

So after remembering what i read in The Alchemist, I went on to eat my favorite lunch, nasi campur mamak with deep fried bitter gourd oh so fattening which only cost RM 3.80 (cheap by my standard. RM 3.90 would be pushing it) and completed a few pages of music assignment at home.
*victory dance*

Ah, i am easily amused.
:B
Oh, and class was cancelled xD

thank you google images

PS: of course, the secret to our own happiness has already been in the bible for the longest time ever, just that people refuse to credit it so as to believe that they themselves have "created" the power of the universe conspiring to help them in all that they want.
however, i believe that paulo coelho knows about this. rhonda, on the other hand...

now this

Six months.
SIX LOVE FILLED, COMFORTING MONTHS.

And then this.

I still can't believe it.

I feel so betrayed.

I took very good care of you.

In the end,

IT'S NOT ME. IT'S THE THIRD PARTY.

My damage is small. It's repairable. But my life...my record...it's my HISTORY now.

For SIX MONTHS, no STATIONARY/MOVING object TOUCHED the car when I drove.

SIX MONTHS. Some people can't wait six minutes.
I'm still an excellent driver.

Three days short of celebrating my sixth month with a "P" license, I met with an accident.
IT'S NOT MY FAULT.

I'M NOT IN DENIAL.
ASK MY MUM.

There is practically no damage at all, thank God! Just the mirror. It looks like someone gave up on a decapitation job halfway through.

Signing off,

NOT. MY. FAULT. ASK. MY. MUM. AND. THE. PASSENGERS. I. WAS. DRIVING.

PS: Oh gosh. Jue Lyn just told me to drive safe earlier today! the first person ever to wish me so. lol. strange....
