raisin studded butter cake-mmmmmm

Some people are generally good at everything. You call these people, people with a high general factor of intelligence, or the g factor, in a theory brought forward by Charles Spearman.

It's 4.30pm on a Tuesday afternoon, and we just took our second finals paper for the term, Microeconomics: a Micro pain in the brain. The finals was kicked off with Accounts yesterday.

God is good, all the time.
All the time, God is good.
:D

The Gospel-As short as possible.

Once there was a guy called Jesus. He was a carpenter who loved to bring happiness. He could walk on water, turn water into wine and heal the blind and lame.

He was crucified on the cross on a Friday. One of his followers, Judas, betrayed Him and reported Him to the Romans for a couple of gold coins.

Let's go back to moments before His crucifixion. It was the Passover. The governor's custom was that during this time, the people could choose to release one prisoner to the crowd, whoever they wanted.

That year, Barabbas and Jesus were the pick. Barabbas was a guy who lead a rebellion against the Roman government, which was ironically the crime for which Jesus was accused. The citizens chose Barabbas.

Stripped, mocked, spat on, Jesus was clothed again and was led to the cross to be crucified along with two criminals. There, even more people mocked him, telling him to save himself if he was truly the Son of God.

He cried out to God for one final time, and died.
At that moment, the earth shook, rocks split, and even the dead holy people were brought to life.

Mat 17:54-When the centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and all that had happened, they were terrified, and exclaimed, "Surely he was the Son of God!"

Three days later, Jesus lives.

After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the
other Mary went to look at the tomb.
There was a violent earthquake, for an
angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the
stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were
white as snow. The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like
dead men.

The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know
that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen,
just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell
his disciples: 'He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into
Galilee. There you will see him.' Now I have told you."

-Matt 28:1-7

Because He lives, I have:
purpose, meaning and direction in my life.
someone who loves me even when I feel like crap.
the best teacher and guide to teach me to live this life well.
