parchment I

There is a saying which I used to hate when I was young because it seemed so stupidly arrogant, but now I seem to like it a lot:

Quitters never win
and
Winners never quit

If we decide to throw in the towel at every miniscule, trivial problems we face, how much more will we do that in the future? Hopping here and there to avoid problems isn't going to get you anywhere.

How can we ever learn from lessons if we don't stay till the end of the lesson?

If you don't let the problems in your life mould you, what will?

Do you think you can get success easily without going through failure?

Sometimes we just have to stop looking inwards at our own problems and whiny complaints, and we have to look outwards. Direct all that boundless energy from the inside to the world around you. Ask yourself: How can you make this world a little bit better?

It's not going to be easy-but it will be worth it.

Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;

but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
-Isaiah 40:30, 31
