The way to the beach. I can just picture white satin, flowers, wooden chairs and...stuff lah!
Duck for cover when you see someone filling a balloon with water.
Water balloon fight. *tingles with excitement*
Photogenic Joyce
Joyce eating a Unidentified Floating Object. We suspect it's a rotten mangosteen.
She also kicked some waves...
...and requested for a silhouette picture.
Thinking of her next joke to crack.
Then we agreed that she should break a rule and I take a picture of her commiting the crime.
Stuff in the Sand
^This one was actually a full heart, then the wave came and took a half. "My heart lies in the depths of the sea,"
It was a great camp. I like the preaching a lot. Totally makes sense. Pastor Koon Hee said we should burn bridges.
Like, pour gasoline on the bridge, light a match, throw it in and watch it all burn.
How many of us actually have the courage and the wisdom to burn the things of our past which hinders us from the future that we can have?
Some of us would rather linger in the memories of our past because it's a whole lot better than our present and future. That's what we all do sometimes-and I especially enjoy looking back.
But Pastor said by looking at our past, we have our backs on our future. We will not be able to see nor anticipate what will come as we are so absorbed with our past.
That sucks doesn't it? Looking at the past and not wanting the better future, just because we thought we already have it all.
But there is more to come, so burn it!
Isaiah 43:18-19 sums up the whole camp:
"Forget the former things;
do not dwell on the past.
See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the desert
and streams in the wasteland."
