as days go by, the ways of this world becomes more and more cold, cynical, heartless, materialistic and self-seeking.
hold tightly to the truth. fix your eyes on what is eternal. that's the only thing that will matter in the end. you have inside you a light that will never go out.
not a single person on earth is always good and never sins.
be set apart. be holy, as your Father in heaven is holy.
Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? (As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.” No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
