the gelato house in thailand

There was a small Gelato House my mum and I stumbled across while in Hatyai. The concept of a gelato bar in that neighbourhood seemed out of place, but the design of the shop was so quaint that if you passed by it, you MUST drop by.

Wood, presumably recycled, line the outside of the shop along with identical potted plants.

An al fresco dining option with very cottage-ish furniture.

The counter, with the young owner manning it.

The menu written on green chalkboard.

A very interesting but tiny sofa. Can fit only my butt.

Check out the wall full of post its and polaroids!

According to the chalkboard menu, a gelato smoothie is RM 7, all drinks are less than RM 5 each, and additional whipped cream is RM 1. Where got so cheap here, you tell me?

The gelato is all handmade by the owner. There was cheesecake flavor and all sorts of flavor which I've forgotten by now. We had a tiramisu flavored one. The coffee liquer is so thick in that one. Yum.
