little things

i am thankful for the sense of touch. without it, i would go around holding hot pots, getting frost bites, poke my eyeballs out and get bitten by a rattlesnake and won't be aware all that was happening. also, as it turns out, pain is not a bad thing after all.

i am thankful for the sense of sight. without it, (pitch black darkness) (knocks over a vase) (trips over a stool) (falls into hot pot of soup)

i am thankful for health and stamina. without it, i'd be complaining about being tired all the time.

i am thankful for a brain. without it, i'd be sleeping at 6am everyday, waking up at noon, be awake at night, and complain to all my friends via FB and blogs about my eyebags when all i needed to do to get rid of the eyebags was to sleep at night and drink plenty of water.

i am thankful for people who "probably think this song is about you"
