Many years ago on this day, a baby boy was born to a couple, Mary and Joseph.
The son of a carpenter, He would go on to heal the sick, raise the dead and tell people to forgive their enemies.
His death was just as meaningful as His birth. Pierced to a tree, put in a tomb, He conquered death three days later by walking out of the tomb alive.
Happy birthday, Jesus.
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” (Isaiah 9:6)
My new years' resolution is far fetched and seemingly impossible. BUT through Christ, every impossibility becomes a possibility. So I will hold on to the only hope in this world and keep believing that God does and will make all things beautiful in His time.
