subconsciously mind boggling

A few years ago, an art teacher brought newspaper cuttings of paintings of a Rob Gonsalves for us as guides in our paintings.

I chose Listening Fields. This is the original:



His paintings of magic surrealism are so soft and detailed and so simple that it is accesible to people of all ages.

What makes the paintings surreal is the double meaning it has: there is one side to the "typical" picture, and another to the "hidden" picture.
