we have to soak up knowledge like how the rice soaks up curry.

One Thing To Learn Today:
"Mosh Pit Audience"
-A mosh pit is typically a small area directly at the front of a concert stage, most of the time occupied by trendy, hip, "cool" young adults screaming and jumping along to the music at the concert.
-Sometimes, a lead singer of a band will stage dive into a mosh pit.
-MTV Asia Awards 2008 is looking for Mosh Pitters! I'm not going to tell you where and when 'cos i don't support these kinda stuff. =P (bring on the roadshow though)

Wednesday started with IT classes.

Someone along the corridor of the computer lab shouted "MATHS CLASS CANCELED!" along the quiet hallways. Shouts of jubilant happiness echoed throughout the college as a dozen of us or so marched down to Rejab (which is actually a month in the Islamic calender) to eat.

Janelle's deliciously peppery mutton rendang on rice had everyone salivating at one end of the table.
100% more delicious than it looks.

Someone said another class in the afternoon was also canceled, so someone on the other end of the table suggested that we all go watch Journey to the Center of the Earth in 3D at Pyramid. Personally I would have rather went on a Window Shopping Journey All Around Pyramid, but movies are all right.

It was also our first time passengering in WH's car.

Janelle (Beginning of journey): "Luckily my mum bought insurance!"
Janelle (After a near crash): "I lied! I lied! I don't have insurance!"

Mirrors.
Uh, escalators.
Mirrored escalators.
Escalating mirrors?

After the somewhat hilarious movie, the first shop in our line of sight was Catch Up. It sells t-shirts with funny quotes like
"One boyfriend is not enough"
"It's hard to be single"

Entertaining and somewhat trendy. Somewhat, because some tees may not appeal to sensitive people.
Anyhoo, I bought this white shirt with Audrey Hepburn (Breakfast at Tiffany's!) on it. Very pop-art.

Then, I wanted to look for the shop that had lots of white compartments in it. Kind of like pasar malam, I told the receptionist. The name of the shop was very vagueto us-Iona and I were sure we came across it through a mirror ala Alice in Wonderland. With the many mirrors at Pyramid I'm not surprised we didn't enter a hyperquardrum dimension!

We finally found it after dragging people through floors and floors of expensive looking shops. Marks and Spencer taught us a thing about marketing-like this nifty survey taker thingy:

And this packet of animal biscuits were soo cute!

Says Rachel (RaShell): "What? That's for animals?"

Ok ok the "pasar malam" shop's name is In Q Box. Sounds like Incubus, no? The concept is from Singapore. Here's a picture from Wee Han's blog of it:

Anyway, after a long-winded discussion on where the heck Happy Village (Taman Gembira haha) was, we all went home.

At Happy Village Restaurant...
We ate. (Baked cheese with mushrooms and chicken ham strips)

We gulped. (Cold carrot milk)

We made lame jokes and giggled over a picture of Wai How.

And....we saw an adorably cute baby covering his face when he saw us! (Dear baby, if you're reading this, i'm sooo sorry for posting this picture without your mom+dad's permission. You were just so kawaii-neh~!)

Thank God for a great day with great people.
(Initially i didn't want to go. Assignments, quizzes, you know the drill, yo. [wow i rap!])

And check this out! AYA (Asian Youth Ambassadors) Choir Project with Malaysian jazz musician Mia Palencia! Jian Quin, we go together caaaannnn?

(The orange birds looks Roxy-ish)
