"But you put on quite a show..."

Apparently Wee Han is not only modelling during Fusion Fiesta, but he is also modelling for:

Calvin Klein fragances...(Work it! That's what I call fierce)

...and Nokia hanphones (so cool it made his scarf fly).

Advertising is so cheap nowadays even big names like Nokia are willing to share not only the same model, but the same photo shoot with another company.

There were also models shamelessly promoting Big Apple Donuts...

...and after that Banana (PHONE!) Republic had a photo shoot for their fall collection.

Alright, here's the true story behind the adverts:
1. Wee Han was actually wearing my scarf and Joy Ling's sunglasses. Looks *ahem* metro *ahem* no?
Too bad our practice was discreet. Ivan and Wee Han improvised their lines to end with "tong tong chiang" (ala Chinese opera). I laughed so hard, I had stomach cramps and I cried. At the same time.

2. Big Apple Donuts were sold before the show started. It was very successful, since all six boxes of 12s were sold out, though most were sold to non-show-attendees. All proceeds, including ticket sales go to St. Barnabas' Home.

After the drama, I went to sit in the most front row (the first four rows were VIP seats). Behind me were around 7 kids from the home and their caretaker. The child sitting directly behind me was this girl with such a small frame I was sure her bones her shivering from the cold, so I lent her my jacket. (Her name's Sarah) And then, when she returned it after the show, she said "Akak, thank you!" Cute right, cute right?!

3. Banana Phone is the song to which all of us ran on stage to dance to. This happened after a short but sweet and elegant dance by formal-wearing couples to a love song by Lee Hom.

A few seconds after that, Wee Han and Ivan were seen dancing rather seductively with scarves to Mariah Carey's Touch My Body. And then, everyone on the floor ran backstage to get the bananas and there were shouts of

"Give me a banana! Quick!"
"Eh, banana fall already lah!"

...as ripe bananas were handed out.
And then..."RINGRINGRINGRINGRINGRINGRING BANANA PHONE! DUB DOO BE DOO!" So everyone started boogeying on stage with their own bananas (oh that sounds wrong). Amplifiers fell, people tripped over one another and bananas were thrown in the air at the end. Some even ate their bananas on stage.

*Ivan and I acted together in the drama with a whole bunch of other wacky people who have gone bonkers. Just like us.

Thank you all for your support. And encouragement. Jokes, laughters and Mariah Carey-ism. And thanks for the lurve! We should do this again.
