Antara jenis pemerintahan di Yunani adalah monarki (pemerintahan oleh Konsul), Oligarki (Orang kaya dalam Konsul), Aristokrasi (Orang kaya yang memiliki kuasa yang amat kuat), Diktator (oleh golongan tirani-diwakili oleh orang kaya dan golongan tentera) dan akhirnya demokrasi.
So after that Yunani use demokrasi. Sparta still use pemerintahan tentera but other negara kota oso use raja berkuasa mutlak.
